         Purpose:

         The purpose of this list is to discuss all issues pertaining
         to AIX (IBM's implementation of the  UNIX operating system),
         particularly in conjuction  with the  use of  AIX in  Israel.
         Issues  regarding all flavors of AIX (for the PC/RT -aka  IBM
         6150, for the PS/2, for 370 type machines and for the
         RiscSystem/6000) may be raised, although it  is  expected
         that  the  list  will  mainly  be devoted  to  the
         implementation on the RiscSystem/6000 machines.
